Text Compare uses a high-performance diff engine written in Rust and compiled to WebAssembly. It implements multiple professional-grade algorithms:

Algorithms

• Patience (default): Best for most text. Produces clean, readable diffs.
• Myers: Classic diff algorithm. Fast and efficient.
• LCS: Finds more granular differences for detailed analysis.

Comparison Modes

• Word-level: Compares whole words. Best for documents.
• Character-level: Shows exact character differences. Great for typos.
• Line-level: Highlights entire lines. Fast for large files.
